La Plagne is a large winter sports resort in the Tarentaise valley in the famous French Savoie region. It is shared by four equally charming mountain communities. The resort itself is made up of seven high altitude resorts and four village resorts. The ski area offers 225 km of downhill ski runs and 95 lifts.
